Los Angeles native | Sonoma County transplant. Her calm presence and attention to detail is what she is recognized for. In her early hairdressing career, she worked for Toni & Guy USA in Orange County. That eventually led her to become a full-time educator at the Toni & Guy Santa Monica Academy. During her time with Toni & Guy, she was able to work alongside some of the best hairdressers in the industry. Fast forward to her move to Sonoma County.

Joanna co-founded the esteemed salon Wash & Brushup Co. in Healdsburg, Ca in 2013. Throughout those years they established relationships with the locals and businesses, creating a name for themselves while raising the bar creatively. Running a successful salon and mentoring an elite group of hairdressers, has been an accomplishment she is beyond proud of.

If you are looking for someone who can meticulously create a haircut along with natural color placement, Joanna is your gal! Creating movement and texture in the hair is one of her absolute favorite parts of her craft.

Continuing education is one of her top priorities and she is passionate about learning and sharing her knowledge with clients, apprentices, and staff.
